Did an Urbex trip into Detroit recently.
4 years and counting, since this #cocacola ghost sign was revealed when the building next to it was torn down. I figured the sign was from the 1930s. Slowly the building is falling apart with graffiti showing up inside the structuring. Not sure what those red painted areas are, since they did not exist four years ago. Maybe someone painted over some offensive tagging.

Every day I drive by this downed sign - it has been this way for months. It is not a good area for me to stop my car otherwise I'd upright it. The comical thing is there are numerous individuals who walk by this sign each day with their dogs as well as joggers and skateboarders - I guess it's too heavy for them to pick up. Now if I'd gone over and planted some green beans to climb up the legs it would not only be removed, I would be fined for planting vegetables here. Welcome to the East End of Louisville.
Once into Colorado we dropped off of US 40 to cover some territory we had never been to. We were rewarded with this wonderful café sign in Meeker.
Sorry still the same old photos from the other day. Been busy this week tidying up and building a new hide. I'm glad I'm made of mostly fat because just about every muscle I have is aching at the moment. Still it will be worth it come spring. I hope!
One lone leaf on the grass from the neighbours maple tree. In past years the colours of the leaves were vibrant reds.
I may not have time to answer or acknowledge your visit here or any comments you leave right away but, rest assured, I will try to get back as quick as I can. I will thank you now in advance.
A collection of signs found in the Old Railway Workshops when they closed down. They now form part of the permanent exhibition at The Museum at Inveresk in Launceston. Walker Evans would have loved them.
*Photos taken with the Nikon D850.
hair salon best known for it's awesome awesome sign.
It should be noted that I photoshoped part of a billboard out of the shot because it was too distracting.
I got this shot of a sign outside the hotel where we stayed in Ulaanbaatar: it was too priceless to let pass.
It occurs to me that if the top sign is necessary, then not walking on the lawn would pretty much go without saying.
