I am fairly certain that I have developed an entirely new form of portrait photography. Nearly always candid, and in this case not helped by driving rain which rather ruined any chance of getting a more varied shot today. As ever, I just take what I see.
Bicycle Action was a cycling magazine in the 1980s. I wonder whether the two men on the bike were editors of the magazine on a publicity stunt. ANd what happened to the bike? Seen on the downhill approach to Brighton.
Richard Ballantine was I think associated with Bicycle Action, as well as Bike magazine. I think the former was concerned with early mountain biking or ATBs Cycling journalist Carlton Reid was also associated with Bicycle Action, writing an off-road column. Another associate was ALan Davidson, co-author of the Encycleopedia with Jim McGurn.
I don't know what you would call this bike, certainly not a tandem, as it is no longer than a normal bike. A sociable racing bike??

My wife bought me an a6000. This is a side-by-side shot to show the size difference between both cameras. It seems I will be able to travel lighter from now on, and still shot decent pictures.

The original three Disney Princesses, as Limited Edition 17'' Dolls. Snow White (2009), Cinderella (2012), Blue Aurora (2014). Snow White has been placed in the middle to the other two can look at her, while she looks straight ahead.
Shown are the Limited Edition Sleeping Beauty 17'' Dolls released by the Disney Store so far. They were all released on October 7, 2014 in stores. Pink Aurora was a pre-order, but the other three were released online on October 8. They were $119.95 each, and were made in edition size of 3500 for Phillip, 4000 for Blue Aurora and Maleficent, and 5000 for Pink Aurora. They have all been fully deboxed, and are standing, supported by their included doll stands.
The OMC140 and Megrez 90 mounted on a Geoptik side by side plate kindly loaned to me by Steve Asbury. When I get some clear skies, the plan is to take some guided images of smaller DSOs with the OMC and Canon 20D.
