I love the NGV Studio in Federation Square, its an active little space focusing on 'youth' apparently! Currently there is an exhibition called Board which presents a collection of 1970s & 80s skateboards and ephemera from Tony Hallam’s (Australian Skateboarder) collection alongside contemporary decks created for the exhibition, it explores the evolution of board graphics and design. I have a blank deck of Shane's at home that I have been meaning to do something with...now I feel inspired.

Here it is! All done! I waited a week for this baby to dry while my custom-made stainless-steel doors were built.

A MANHATTAN MUSIC FESTIVAL CELEBRATING VETERANS

New York, New York

The Memorial Day main attraction at NYC Fleet Week 2019, the “Side By Side” music festival welcomed the public, some 2.600 veterans, active military, and their families to Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. Audiences were treated to award-winning musical performances, talks by with distinguished veterans, military exhibits, and activations.

Taking full advantage of New York media coverage and social media exposure, Britten’s project management team took full responsibility for conceptual design, printing, fabrication, and installation of stage graphics, barricade fencing, and an attention-grabbing FOAM3D selfie-sign in the shape of a guitar headstock.

A successful and high-profile event on every front, the jam-packed music bash was also the first-of-its-kind honoring military service. Britten was proud to take part, a feeling echoed in the words of Juan Serrano, director of Northwell Health’s Military and Veterans Liaison Services, who said, “It’s an honor to serve those who serve. No matter where, no matter why—no matter what."
