This side light portrait was taken with the Nikon B700, the mirror sunglasses catching the reflection of the entry to the Castle of Muskogee, I was well out of reach of the reflection, The B700 has the equivalent of 2400 MM in 35mm thus the bit of shake on the shutter release, but usable.
In order to create some kind of balance on the plates tonight, I made a colorful, and odd, "salad" to go with the main.
Went for a walk, some some lizards, that's a good day. This handsome little critter is a side-blotched lizard (Uta sp.), common across the southwest. Everything eats them (birds, snakes, bigger lizards), so they're wary, but if you get down at their level, you can often get quite close.
