White-tailed Stonechat (Saxicola leucurus) captured at Marala, Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan with Canon EOS 7D Mark II

The Sialkot Clock Tower is situated in Saddar Bazar, Sialkot, Pakistan. It acts like a giant pin, holding the crazy and bustling streets of the main city and the well--planned, relatively tranquil portions of the cantonment area together. Standing tall for more than a century, the tower would have been witness to many a time of upheaval and change.

This is beautiful Clock Tower located in Sialkot.

Rice Fields scene near sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan

Sialkot, located in the province Punjab, Pakistan, is an ancient city dating back to some 5000 years. Its mention is made in history when it was invaded by by Alexander the Great in 327 AD. Presently it is thriving business city with specialties in sports and surgical instruments. The footballs for the World Cup are also manufactured here.

The Sialkot Clock Tower, located in the cantonment, was build in the 19th century by the British and has recently been renovated. I visited Sialkot in 2007 and shot this magnificent tower.

Another stunning view of Marala Lands at Sialkot. Its absolutely stunning place especially in such dramatic light like yesterday. It's surroundings used to be much neglected place before I started shooting it in 2007. And after seeing those pix on net, photographers and nature lovers started paying serious attention to it, and I am very thankful to all of them. Another lovely attraction of this place is the backdrop of Himalyan mountains. Which can be seen in clear weather.
