There was a long line outside Hyatt Regency Crown Center because breakfast was served from 7 - 8:15 AM at the Kansas City Convention Center.
We all GREATLY appreciated having shuttle buses to take us to and from our hotel to the convention center. Thanks, Team National, we love you.
A temporary shuttle bus station, branded "Cub Kindness," was established in Minneapolis to provide essential transportation for residents. This service offered complimentary rides to the Cub Foods store at The Quarry, following extensive damage to the local Cub Foods store during the civil unrest in May 2020. The unrest occurred in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder, impacting local infrastructure and community access to resources. The shuttle operated daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving as a vital link for grocery access during the community's recovery period.

The United States Government placed a Federal Armory and Arsenal at Harpers Ferry, Virginia (today's West Virginia) in 1799. In October of 1859, abolitionist John Brown and a group of followers raided the arsenal. They had hoped to use the weapons to arm southern slaves and lead to a widespread slave revolt. His plan failed and John Brown was tried and hung. Today, most of the town is administered by the National Park Service.
