Space Shuttle Endeavour (OV-105) is on display at the California Science Center. It's in a temporary building while the permanent exhibit is being built. The permanent exhibit is going to be awesome when it is completed in 2018, but right now you can walk RIGHT UP UNDERNEATH the orbiter. It's super awesome.
Each of those squiggles is the name of someone who worked on the shuttle program. Our tour guide (George) was one of them.
Space Shuttle Discovery. "The longest-serving orbiter, Discovery flew 39 times from 1984 through 2011 — more missions than any of its sister ships — spending altogether 365 days in space." Displayed at James S. McDonnell Space Hangar, Udvar-Hazy Center, National Air and Space Museum.

The space shuttle Endeavour flew over Houston and landed at Ellington Field on its final flight from Florida to California. Mom went to see it. The shuttle was bolted to a 747 for its flight.
These guys were chilling in the river between us and the shuttle, past of NASA's wildlife inhabitants.
