I found this little waterfall on the website ctwaterfalls.com. Since where I live in N Indiana is so flat, there really isn't much in the way of waterfalls to photograph, so visiting Connecticut gives me the chance to indulge in one of my favorite subjects to photograph. On this morning, however, I forgot my tripod! So, I used my sweatshirt instead to prop my camera on for this shot. And despite the title, no showers were taken by me at this location.

Sunshine and showers today.

The waterfall here at Ash Cave located in Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio had just enough flow for a shower.

When I was visiting the UNESCO Geopark site, the Copper Coast, it was the perfect day to take interesting shots. It had everything, sun, wind and as can be seen heavy showers. Makes for an interesting sky and colours shifts.

Watching showers go by at Ramshaw last year. Had a few days of interesting weather.

When I was maneuvering about in front of a water falls, many possibilities for something different came to mind. This angle combined two elements, that had me thinking of a brilliant yellow shower curtain. The water was cascading down the mountain, which in turn added to the narrative.

Near Sargeant Bay, this water falls runs heavily only after a great deal of rain. And, since we have had a sufficient amount of precipitation lately, it completed the image. It also runs from the top left, exiting to the bottom right, contributing to the needed balance and flow within the story.

Someties approaching rain showers can be spotted miles away... as was this case in the mountains of Utah.

The showers provided some rainbows.

On a short walk around the Botallack area on Tuesday we were treated to just about every weather condition except snow. The extremely high winds were whipping up the waves and blowing clouds fast over the sea. Now and then we had to turn away from the heavy horizontal showers of hail and sleet and five minutes later there were rainbows lighting up the Crowns engine houses. The engine house in the foreground is Wheal Owles.

Drying sunflowers in my garden that I lopped the tops. I have always thought that they resemble shower heads. It was fun arranging and photographing them. HSS!

Previously unpublished shot captured in May 2019. It has been a very dry April this year and now, as May begins, the April showers have arrived. Enjoy!

I missed the bright days of Summer in Autumn. But now, I really miss the colorful days of Autumn. It's crying for the moon :P
