Experimenting here with a flash and shutter drag at the Bollywood Club. I really like the effect and am quite keen to try more of it, ultimately in a street setting. But for now, quite content at honing my skills a little more in the relative safety of the club.

An eventful day in Sydney on Sunday 15th May. After a lunch with my wife and our usual city walk, we crossed paths with this protest. It was a big one. The protesters were invigorated.. I also felt the weight of what is happening. Thankfully there were no reports of arrests or misbehaviour.
I’m drawn to her raised clenched fist with pointed index finger. The proximity of the microphone to her open mouth and of course the megaphone directly above her.

the past few days have been a bit hectic! a friend who i have not seen for 18 years came home for a 2-day visit we had the whole weekend catching up! wow! it's amazing how time flies! he was a classmate in medical school and now works as an oncologist in san francisco. amazing how we have not changed and how much we have changed! aaah the paradox of time!
sorry for not visiting lately my friends! i hope to catch up soon! good day/night everyone!
