Today, Snow-Proof Safety Cone sold and it made me really sad. No really, my heart fell to the ground. I almost cancelled the sale, the reason being that I love him and can't let go only a day after his entering this world!
Luckily, I had to do a photo shoot with the little guy for something BIG and TOP-SECRET that will be unveiled soon. I'm glad we got to document our love, because tomorrow he gets shipped off to Arizona. :(
Hello anyone from King's Lynn Transition town and to the owners of Nourish on London rd King's Lynn.
This is my photo representing us- King's Lynn Transition town group to be sent to Norfolk Rural Community Council.
This is an entry into their photographic competition. Their aim is to highlight Norfolk communities and how we live and they wanted to create some pictures demonstrating this.
Personally, the photo is not, in my opinion, winning material, but then I did not place this thinking of winning anything.
I wanted to do this for us because on the applicatiion form I can advertise us as an organisation and what we stand for and represent in Norfolk. That was the objective for me.
More importantly, the theme I have choosen, out of the 6 categories- see Title, illustrates perfectly what KLT is all about.
Promoting local economies, local buisness and reducing our carbon emissions by shopping locally for our food items. Being aware that shopping more locally can help climate change, car usage and helps with the problem of peak oil.
The counter display demonstrates perfectly a local shop atmosphere.
You can see it is not Tesco or similar store.
Pity, the light/shadows on the counter but I have printed it off and it looks pretty good.
I will be sending this off asap tomorrow- Closing date is 12 th June.
Had a great time celebrating independents with Joanne at The Things I Love and the Matt Enik Independent We Stand Summer 2013 Tour in Old Town Manassas, VA.
