Seeing this trio of neighboring stores makes me happy every time I visit Kerrisdale. There are also two stationery stores on the next block--another weakness of mine. So much wrong in the world--but a lot right in this little neighborhood

They are honesty, loyalty, integrity and compassion personified. Michelle Obama said, “I have learned that as long as I hold fast to my beliefs and values and follow my own moral compass then the only expectations I need to live up to are my own”.
