This was on the A39 near Countisbury Hill in Devon

A ten minute stroll through my garden proved very fruitful. Using my 100mm Macro, I deliberately used a shallow DOF. I also used a 30cm softbox and 580ex on half power to get a little kick. I am starting to enjoy this kind of photography!!

I've been waiting to take a picture of this plant. I think it might be my favorite this summer. I took and rejected many a picture of it. This is about as close to doing it justice as I can get. Its another Proven Winner, "Pretty Much Picasso".

The Chevrolet Volt concept is significant in a number of ways. First, it is an electric hybrid that uses a small gasoline engine to recharge its batteries rather an actually put power to the wheels. Second, it is a plug-in hybrid (note the power cord sticking out just ahead of the door). Third, it actually looks good.
