San Diego, among other places, is ridiculous right now. The view from my window looks like a Hitchcock movie. I love looking at the rain.
B.A.P. Unión - Peruvian Navy Tallship - One of the largest sailing vessels in the world.
The B.A.P. Unión, a Peruvian ship, arrived To Vancouver, BC Canada, Thursday to commemorate 75 years of diplomatic relations between Canada and Peru.
The tall ship — a traditional sailing vessel — serves as a training ship for Peruvian naval cadets. That country's government says it is the second largest training ship in the world.
The ship has 34 sails, and has a total sail area of more than 3,400 square metres. It houses 243 crew members.
BAP Unión is a training ship of the Peruvian Navy, built between 2012–2015 by Shipyard Marine Industrial Services of Peru, known as SIMA. It is a four-masted, steel-hulled, class "A" barque, composed of 38 steel modules. It has a total length (including bowsprit) of 115.50 m (378 ft 11 in);a beam of 13.50 m (44 ft 3 in); a draft of 6.50 m (21 ft 4 in); an air draft of 53.50 m (175 ft 6 in); a displacement of 3,200 metric tonnes; a speed of 12 knots (22 km/h) and a crew of 250 officers and trainees. The ship's name honors a Peruvian corvette that took part in the first stage of the 1879–1883 War of the Pacific as part of a naval squadron under the command of Miguel Grau, a hero of the Peruvian Navy.

Shiver
By: Fever Ray
Lyrics
Just a little touch
Just a little touch
Just a little touch
Killer skies
Thick thighs
Some girls will make you blush
Some girls will make you shiver
Needle highs
All vibes
Some girls you wanna thrust
Some girls you wanna see shiver (oh, right)
I just wanna be touched
I just wanna shiver
Can I trust you?
I just wanna shiver
One million lumen
Trophy human
You still haven't met
But you need to reset
Though you haven't met them yet
It all started with a shiver
Just a little touch
Just a little touch
(Just a little)
Can I trust you?
I just wanna shiver
I just wanna shiver
I just wanna shiver
I just wanna shiver

Pennyghael is a thin scattering of habitation along two miles of the southern shore of Loch Scridain on the Isle of Mull. The loch is overshadowed by the impressive Ben More.

#38 - Transportation
It's the scorching summer of 1976 and I'm draped around the railings on the wall abutting the railway line at Alexandra Terrace, Teignmouth, hoping that the next train through is going to be a Western!
Sad to say this one wasn't, but a rather less than welcome (at the time) class 50, unit 50038, as yet un-named and hauling a rake of Mk1 carriages. I wish I could tell you what the working was, but I've no idea.
On a positive note however, my first and only visit to this beauty spot didn't go completely to waste - 1005 'Western Venturer' came through hauling another rake of Mk1 carriages and was duly snapped, this time on Agfa CT18.
The chap in front of me was coiffed and dressed in the typical attire of the 1970s. Do you recognise yourself?
Apologies for the less than original title, but couldn't resist the piles of planks at right.

On an extremely windy and very wet spring day, saplings (and their brand new leaves), growing on a small crag below Hallin Fell, shiver during a very brief glimpse of sunlight, backed by a turbulent Ullswater.
a local model that never fails to show up for the shoot. she's wearing solar panels now so the snow becomes her.
Thanks to some wonderful friends for encouraging me to get out yesterday morning with them to take some time away for myself...it was a great time and so good to be out doing together what we all love to do! Sure was a bit of a temperature shock with the wind off the water...guess more will be coming though! Hot Paws coming to your camera bags soon :)
