The grey conditions that we started the day with were soon blown away by the wind!

My archive dig this morning uncovered this abstract photographed in White Sands National Park. Just a small section of constantly shifting sand on a steep hillside.

Buttercup left the beds so Mr Spock is going to take up his turn at them.

A bell tower from former times. Too high for my GF 30mm shift lens to correct converging verticals totally. As the tower construction does not have straight pillars anyway, I think the remaining perspective is not disturbing.

digital art 2009,

experimenting with different textures and layers from Happysweet mama's free site , www.flickr.com/groups/happysweetmamas_free_files/ a great free resource.

Dunes have always fascinated me because of their textures and geometries, colours and contrasts. They are mobile, forming and reforming and it's just never the same when you get there. They are like waves in water, just much much slower. An then there is life, little grasses and little flowers or bones. Well, step back from the image and discover the track of a tinny creepy crawler. I find it amazing how it stands out.
