Sherri, one of four close-up portraits on display in Manchester’s Art Gallery by the controversial New York photographer, Bruce Gilden. His method of taking photographs is to stride purposefully through crowds and jump out in front of unsuspecting subjects, flash in one hand camera in the other. Sherri and the other three portraits (see my previous post) are described by some as shocking and disturbing as they show warts’n’all of the subjects features. This is one of the better ones…!
My husband took this photo. It NEVER snows in Texas, but it did this past Christmas. Our first married-couple Christmas and it snowed. So special!
A tad bit tricky because I decided that I didn't like the instructions and did it My Own Way, but I made it through. :)

This was taken at the beginning of this year when I was dabbling in model photography instead of always trying to be sneaky with street photography. It was nice not having to try and be so stealthy, but I always seem to go back to street.
