I collect seashells. They remind me of the ocean, which I find very peaceful.

The First Nations people have feasted here for many years and some people say that the whole shoreline of the Gorge and Selkirk Water is composed of layer upon layer of shell midden.

Caught this one of a Tortoise Shell butterfly resting on top of a Lilac spike in my garden - I call this plant a Lilac but I think that's just a common hook, rather it is from the Buddleja family of "Butterfly Bushes", specifically this one is Buddleja davidii (or so I believe)

used some shells from the store and the beach and sprinkled on some glitter for shine. nothing is glued just propped together. This would be pretty on a wreath too- I've got several grapevine wreaths that are sprayed white I just haven't glued the shells on yet...someday!!
