On a guided nature walk around the grounds of Thala Beach Nature Reserve, our guide points out a cicada shell on stringybark tree next to the trail.
Shelling a bunch of fresh Romano beans in preparation for tomorrow's soup-making fest. The pods are edible, but for the soup I just wanted the beans themselves.
