Since she loves to dance, we thought Emma might be interested in seeing real dancers in action. We showed her Kathryn's solo from last week's So You Think You Can Dance and she started dancing along. This was the first time she had ever seen the video.

Teaka loves to be around people. As soon as we sit down, she is on our lap. I was cleaning up the bedroom and I put her on the bed to keep me a company. Shortly after this she fell asleep. Today we went for ice cream with a friend and his 1 yr old daughter. Teaka really liked her, she was wagging her tail and she was so gentle with the baby(where Tia jumped on her and made her cry :() . I was surprised with Teaka because apparentlly she didn't like babies and that is why her previous family gave her up. She is such a good and sweet dog. We are so happy to have her. She sleeps most of the time, cuddles when ever she can, "dances" for meal times and besides occasional "puddle", garbage invasion and visiting neigbours(sneaks under the fence)...she is perfect.
My niece Elyssa (I'm her Aunt/momma and she calls me Dude LOL) started gymnastics this summer to give her something to do and this was a whole new world for her. She was brave despite having tears throughout the "bar" sessions but she kept at it anyway (building strength and muscles). She learned how to hold on, hang up-side-down, touching the bar with her toes, then flipping over. It's called "Skinning the Cat," which goes against my belief system (hahaha) but I'm so excited that she worked so hard to "skin the cat" and she finally flipped over. Her next goal will be to land on her feet and something tells me she will do that... I'm keeping her in Gymnastics once per week and then I got her into a dance class for kids with disabilities and physical limitations once a week too. I'll think she'll love it all but ti will be really busy from what she's used to. GO ELYSSA!!! the teacher gets credit too with her helping Elyssa - she's a natural teacher and has a lot of heart.
So she still doesn't have a name so we're just going to refer to her as Nadeko's sister for a while (hopefully not long)
I took some pictures in the photo spaces at VOLKS Utsunomiya, I brought clothes and even shoes (that I didn't put on her because I wanted to enjoy the heel feet) but managed to forget to bring eye putty - _ -;
so in all the pictures of her at VOLKS her eyes are wonky because I held them in with masking tape
sorry for the not-so-nice pictures, I was shaking way too much ^^;
I still can't believe that she's here~!

This is Vida. She is the little girl that my mom babysits. She likes watermelon, cake, singing, and moving around for no reason (like most kids). She ate all the watermelon slices to her left. Nope, not kidding. She really did.
My Flight leaves for California in less than 9 hours....But I still have time for THIS one....
this one goes out to MY mother...she gets me, and I love her unconditionally - even if it doesn't always show.
