Someone (decided to leave the expletives out!!!) smashed my wing mirror this week. Imagine how disappointed I was UNTIL.....I saw this week's theme for the Smile on Saturdays group this morning!!!!

A few days ago, i was out to get some groceries and i saw this really cool mask and i had to buy it (Yep, i'm always spending all my money on stuff like that *sigh*).
The chance to try it out came quickly because one morning i was out trying to shoot landscapes but the weather was awful and i did not want to leave without photos....aaaand this is the result, 2 days worth of work (yes,yes i know, i'm slow)

I was playing with a broken mirror in preparation for this week's CC theme - Fun with Mirrors. I shot it yesterday so this is not date eligible. I placed the broken mirror pieces on top of a glass framed shot of a bluebird.

This photo was taken not for photography purpose but for reporting the damage...thus only half the frame. Still I like that beautifully complex pattern of the shattered glass and the overall tone, the selective colour feel and the work in progress view from the window. So uploading it here... hope you all will also like it.
