A trip to Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia was one that I was really looking forward to. (Since I have not been out shooting much at all this year)
Tough day as both my trusty D810 and 24-70mm go-to lense are damaged beyond repair now from an accident I had in the ravine.

The rock-strewn surface of the western end of the Meall Garbh 'ridge' on An Teallach. The two Munros of An Teallach are centre shot: Bidean a' Ghlas Thuill being the nearer one with the very pointy Sgurr Fiona peeping out behind.
These two had been our hoped-for destinations for the day, but 1000m up is no place to be in 50-60+ mph winds. Thus the plateau was our high point (at just below 800m) and we were struggling to stand up in the gusts! We had come up the Coir a'Mhuilinn route to get some protection from the wind & had only come onto the plateau to get the views to the north not visible from the 'valley' route.
We were on the mountain for about 5 hrs (inc stops to shelter and to refuel) and didn't see another soul!
