We parked the truck at Scales Farm and headed around Scales Fell to the base of Sharp Edge. Although it was red hot it was hailing at the same time, which was a bit weird!

Souther Fell is really an extension of the Blencathra group of fells and is a flat lump of boggy fell with some good views. Sharp Edge is visible on Blencathra in this view.

Fragment of Silence pulses with the weight of industrial abstraction and elegant restraint. Sharp forms collide and slide against stark planes of white and black, evoking the architecture of silence and the tension of unresolved ideas. This constructivist vision holds no softness—it is precision, collision, and contemplation in pure contrast. Time seems arrested in this architectural hush, where every angle dares to speak through stillness.
