Happy Macro Mondays
the fear of knives, or sharp objects of other kinds, is aichmophobia. It's not my phobia... the only phobia that I have that I can think of is a fear of heights (acrophobia) but even then it's limited to heights like the edge of a cliff or on a roof. Maybe it's really basophobia, a fear of falling ! Now I'm developing a fear of being confused...

Macro Mondays theme: Danger
Game of Stones: Craft blades sticking to a ring of haematite spheres that are naturally magnetic. Physics won out in my battle to gain some kind of artful structure.
Runner up for this week's theme in comments. The danger of photographing reflective objects is multiple inadvertent selfies with a potential wardrobe malfunction.

Move Along,Nothing to See Here(2006) was part of "Cai Guo-Qiang on the Roof: Transparent Monument" exhibition at Met.
All the sharp objects used in this piece were those confiscated at airport security checkpoints.

I'm a big fan of Sharp Objects on HBO, so today I drew actress Patricia Clarkson, who plays Adora. Drawn using Procreate.
not my specific armamentarium, but a random collection on my parlor table. not a very crisp image, i'll do it over when the mood strikes me. note the long ENT mirrors that I found at a garage sale and the nasal speculum that i found at the same sale, sold by an old man.
