The texture is the star so I removed the color. Hope you like it! =o) On another note, Hootie the Barred Owl was hanging out in our backyard tonight on a fence post. She sure seems to like our yard, which makes me happy, but also feeling a pang of guilt that it may be because of all the fat squirrels who’ve been feasting at our feeders. I know, it’s the circle of life, and you can’t have one without the other. That’s my story, and I’m stickin’ to it. ;o)

Hugs and thanks for viewing! =o)

Here's the story..

i wanted to photograph something with glass.

i took a ice-tea glass which had big crack and broke it in pieces.

first i wanted to make a macro-photograph of a bunch of glass though a make-up mirror. while i was directing the glass, i had the idea to use a white background and saw my Macbook in front of me. i put my glass on the Mac and saw the logo and thought: ' heey, it's a really nice logo to to something with that'. so i put the glass around the logo and made photo's indirectly by that macro make-up mirror.

in photoshop i treat the photo in blue light and use a bit of some filters and finished it with a crop.

This cat was in an alley way. He was watching over the other cats that were around.

Followers of this site may have noticed (we certainly have!) a significant deterioration of sharpness and general quality of this last batch of pictures. The weather Oop North wasn't brilliant but compared well with the South West. However the camera performed as if the lens was wide open all the time with very small plane of focus and unreliable metering. We have had a love/hate relationship with the Lumix from day one, loving the sharpness and hating the control layout and function keys. After some heavy repairs to remove lumps of dirt from the sensor after being bashed, it was never quite the same and became increasingly unpredictable during this last expedition. We are pleased to say that Panasonic have listened to their public and the Lumix FZ1000 appears to have all the previous faults ironed out while retaining the crisp lens - time will tell. Meanwhile the FZ200 has been relegated to light domestic use and is proving a big hit with the Grandchildren. Cheers from The Rabbi & Mrs Thinrod.
