Mobius Arch in the Alabama Hills of California with a snow capped Sierra Mountain Range as the backdrop. I did a very short hike through some boulders to reach this vantage point to set up the "classic view" of looking straight through the arch. I didn't download the trail map as I could see the arch from the parking area but I did get turned around a little bit while hiking it. Luckily there was a snow so I could make out a few footprints to keep me on track.

The Carib grackle (Quiscalus lugubris) is a New World tropical blackbird, a resident breeder in the Lesser Antilles and northern South America from Colombia east to Venezuela and northeastern Brazil. There are eight subspecies.
The adult male Carib grackle is 27 cm (11 in) long with a long wedge-shaped tail, although the latter is not so long as other grackles. Its plumage is entirely black with a violet iridescence.
Jasmine is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family (Oleaceae). It contains around 200 species native to tropical and warm temperate regions of Eurasia and Oceania. Jasmines are widely cultivated for the characteristic fragrance of their flowers. Jasmine can be either deciduous (leaves falling in autumn) or evergreen (green all year round), and can be erect, spreading, or climbing shrubs and vines. Their leaves are borne in opposing or alternating arrangement and can be of simple, trifoliate, or pinnate formation. The flowers are typically around 2.5 cm in diameter. They are white or yellow in color, although in rare instances they can be slightly reddish. The flowers are borne in cymose clusters with a minimum of three flowers, though they can also be solitary on the ends of branchlets. Each flower has about four to nine petals, two locules, and one to four ovules. They have two stamens with very short filaments. The bracts are linear or ovate. The calyx is bell-shaped. They are usually very fragrant. The fruits of jasmines are berries that turn black when ripe. Jasmines are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Eurasia, Australasia and Oceania, although only one of the 200 species is native to Europe. Their center of diversity is in South Asia and Southeast Asia. A number of jasmine species have become naturalized in Mediterranean Europe. For example, the so-called Spanish jasmine (Jasminum grandiflorum) was originally from West Asia and Indian subcontinent, and is now naturalized in the Iberian peninsula. Jasminum fluminense (which is sometimes known by the inaccurate name Brazilian Jasmine and Jasminum dichotomum (Gold Coast Jasmine) are invasive species in Hawaii and Florida. Jasminum polyanthum, also known as White Jasmine, is an invasive weed in Australia. 19565
With heart-shaped face, buff back and wings and pure white underparts, the barn owl is a distinctive and much-loved countryside bird. Widely distributed across the UK, and indeed the world, this bird has suffered declines through the 20th century and is thought to have been adversely affected by organochlorine pesticides such as DDT in the 1950s and '60s.
Nocturnal birds like the barn owl are poorly monitored by the Breeding Bird Survey and, subject to this caveat, numbers may have increased between 1995-2008.
Barn owls are a Schedule 1 and 9 species.
They eat: Mice, voles, shrews and some larger mammals and small birds. (Courtesy RSPB)

The seeds - shaped like darts - can penetrate a dog's skin or enter body cavities and burrow deeper, causing painful, and potentially lethal, tissue damage and infection.

Antelope Canyon carved from the red sandstone for millennia by seasonal flood rains and wind, the canyons are narrow passageways that lead several hundred feet away from the mouth. Antelope Canyon is also one of the most famous slot canyons in the world. Magnificent Antelope Canyon was named for the herds of pronghorn antelope that once roamed the area.
They are fan-shaped peaks. The river is dark green, and the hills and fertile fields are probably a new sight to most people

Odd-shaped, and with unusual building materials, the University of Toledo Center for Visual Arts contrasts sharply with the adjacent Neo-classical design of the Toledo Museum of Art.
Darkly-oxidized metal shingles coat the outside of the front of the building, (which, to me, make it appear to be a derelict building). The rear of the building are walls of green glass. A sign on the green glass, for some unknown reason, directs viewers to "Look Up."
Designed by prize-winning architect Frank O. Gehry.
(Please see first comment below for the another view of the Center).
Heart shaped box by Nirvana, is fine for what I saw as a heart shaped cloud winking at me on a beach shaped box. Cloud formations always make the day different, and this line of cloud was ever changing and kept my attention .

Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dale is an enormous curving amphitheatre shaped cliff formation of limestone rock. The vertical face of the cliff is about 260 feet high. At the top of the cove is a large area of limestone pavement.
