This egret had landed recently, and looked perfectly smooth until it did this shake, which fully displaced so many feathers!
This egret just missed its catch, and created a pattern of drops in shaking dry. I like that this shot shows both eyes from below!
this old car may of seen a lot of use , but it always gets me to where I need to go even with all the rattling and who needs air conditioning when the windows still go down ?

Yes, this is the same bird as yesterday's photo! While drying himself off, the Ruby-crowned Kinglet really showed me where he gets his name. I've never seen this much red on one before, and it's frankly amazing to me how thoroughly he keeps it hidden. Glendale, Missouri
