Ok soooo I took a long um...ok very long hiatus from photoshop and kept staring at my photos I took at halloween and managed to (don't know how) come up with this.
oo oo Its also the well ok second time I did this but I did a major mod to the hair and extended it by um alot *bounces up and down*

We've been busy girls over on Shadowside lately. Peony, Kitten, Daffodil and I built a haunted manor, maze, and mini spooky gallery. Fangs Craven was incredibly kind and made us the beautiful exterior textures. Nigel Riel graciously lent us the space. There's creepy new art up from Daffodil Crimson, Zanner Igaly, Peony Benoir, and (very soon) Takuma Setsuko.

I really love the strobist site. What a fantastic idea to use a simple roofing panel as a backdrop. Definitely had to try this at home. Joe Daylor and Joe Stern used transparent panels and painted them black. In the store they had a ready to go panel for 8 euro. It's not really as wide as I want it to be, but I might get myself another one.
See setup shot below. Detailinfo: "Softboxed" Nikon SB26 on camera right @1/4 power, Canon 430EX gelled green on the background @1/8 power (zoom 105mm), snooted Canon 540 EZ lying on the floor on camera left to separate the dark side from the background. I also used a reflector on camera left so the shadowside of the face wouldn't be totally dark. Exposure 1/125 @ f5.6 ISO100.
