An early morning shot looking down the Ring Road towards the Eystrahorn mountains near Hvalnes. We stopped the night here and were treated to a glorious sunset, the Northern Lights and a wonderful sunrise.

I took this photo in my mother's garden. This flower stands on the shadowside of a tree, while the sun was rising in the early morning.

An unforced, quiet moment captured from the shadow side. By dropping the angle low, the frame gains structural weight from the deep values of the timber, allowing the backlighting in the upper canopy to dissolve into a soft, floating bokeh.
This edit was all about disciplined restraint—deepening the blacks to give the image gravity while preserving the micro-textures of the subject and the delicate, organic roll-off of the highlights. A deliberate return to a classic, hands-on tonal balance.

Aesthetic: Shot from the shadow side to shape the light, leveraging the wide-open compression of the 35mm Art lens to dissolve the morning canopy into a floating bokeh interlude.

First major attempt at adding photoshoped hair onto existing hair and it was not easy.
Next step doing all the hair.....if I ever start to blink again... :p

Melon
Hoping and thinking it would look like this.
The picture is a bit overdeveloped and even more so on the right side, tried to keep the developer longer on the plate there to get more of the shadowside of the melon, hence the veiling.
The picture was made with natural lighting and a reflection board of packaging foam. This was the third picture and I thought I was done. Now I'm not shure but the melon is gone.
