📝 Technical and Symbolic Description

Film: Film Fomapan 200

Camera: 6×6 with Mamiya C220 Objectif 80Mn

Development:Ilford ID-11 (1+1), yielding very fine grain and rich tonal range

Format: 6×6 medium format

Subject: The photographer’s shadow cast between earth, stone, and sea — an implicit self-portrait where absence becomes presence.

Symbolic Dimension:

This photograph is more than an interplay of light and shadow. It evokes the photographer as a fleeting trace, inscribed in the landscape yet dissolving into it. Between the permanence of stone and the movement of the sea, the shadow becomes a metaphor for a transient self, etched in light.

It was one of those beautiful summer evenings... drinking a couple of local pints with friends at our favourite street-side patio, watching the beautiful people go by. It was mesmerizing.

新年あけましておめでとう!

sunday morning, eyes still hurting (read it with maroon 5 song rhythm)

“I've always envied people who sleep easily. Their brains must be cleaner, the floorboards of the skull well swept, all the little monsters closed up in a steamer trunk at the foot of the bed.”
