To begin with "Clive" was a bit too active!!! ... then we had to have forty winks in the corner ... but we finally got a little bit of cooperation after the promise of a few treats...

visit this site if you want to learn more about English Setters or how to adopt one. A great bunch of people behind the scenes working to save these dogs. I don't have any new photos to post just a re-run of my boy Boomer.

My new Silkie! She was a trade girl from my wonderful Friend: Yoko. I adore my Silkstone ladies, and soooo happy with them! Thank you, my dear Yoko for the fast shipping, and these beauties! You are amazing! <3

By far the newest bus at Alford, and one of the newest and most sophisticated buses currently in preservation, is K1 GRT, the first articulated bus to be bought by Grampian Transport (later to grow into First), and the only articulated bus ever bodied in Scotland.

My husband and I took Jackson to the mall yesterday evening...it is an open air mall that is dog friendly. As we walked around, we found this dog statue. Let's just say that Jackson was VERY intersted in it (hey, he's a friendly dog). He was sniffing, and sniffing, and when he wasn't getting a response, he began to bark at the statue. EVERYONE walking around started laughing at him...echoes of laughter around us (my husband and I included). I am so glad that Jackson doesn't get his feelings hurt by being laughed at!

After a few minutes, we decided that maybe it was mean to let him continue to be frustrated, and walked away. But believe me, we will go back and do this again next time I need a good laugh :)
