IMPORTANT NOTES: This set was originally packaged with the book Bitty Bear's Sprinkler Splash. My outfit did not come with this book since it was leftover stock that was in the American Girl website's clearance section.
PERSONAL FUN FACT: This is my second Bitty Baby swimsuit. I'll admit, that the one I had growing up looked more flattering on my dolls. That's of course because it covered up their silly looking cloth bodies. Honestly, American Girl dolls look really awkward in swimsuits! I found this for I believe about 50% off on Cyber Monday 2015. I couldn't resist adding another summer themed outfit to my collection. Since I have three Bitty Baby dolls (at the time I'm writing this), it can be hard to dress all three in seasonally appropriate attire. Twiggy is the model in this outfit, and she looks absolutely darling in it! I especially love how the floppy hat looks with her ensemble. It's really a shame that this outfit would look downright ridiculous on display most of the year, because I am absolutely in love with it!

Since 15 December and until January 12, Arcana Antiques & Oddities will participate in the event Genre, in its Victorian-themed round with {A} Curio Desk Set, a set of office with Victorian style, totally made in mesh and with a very low impact of prims. The set have 10 wood tones to choose from, as well as 25 different upholstery for the chair. The chair also has 25 great quality animations, both female and unisex, plus animations for the desktop. The set includes a book, also mesh and a laptop with media ability to complete animations.
The price of the set during the event will be only 100L$. When finish Genre, both the set and the individual parts will be available for the regular sale.
I hope you pass by the event, which is an incredible Christmas market with lots of great stores, all offering Victorian-themed items.
I leave a taxi so don’t miss on snow ;)

The sun was just about set by the time I got home from work. I decided to grab the camera and get a couple of pictures before the sun totally set. The photo was taken in the neighborhood where my wife and I reside.
My work laptop was struggling to run AutoCAD and was getting on a bit so time for a new one...
After much deliberation I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 7577... I could bore you with the spec, but lets just say it has has all the bells and whistles one could need. Who could resist an illuminated keypad, fingerprint login, lightening quick solid state drive, 1TB hard disk and 16GB of RAM?
Its is labelled as a 'Gaming laptop' by Dell, but the high end features make it suitable to eat AutoCAD and myriad of other applications running at the same time with absolutely no bother.
Boot up time from cold is a few seconds due the solid state drive and the fingerprint logon. Very impressive.
All gaming laptops seem to feature the colour red on them somewhere - some are a little garish to say the least, but this example is very understated with just a red outlined touch pad and red Dell logo on the lid.
This is my first experience of Windows 10, which after a few days is going better than I first expected.

another shot from the set where i worked as an extra. I haven't been taking photos lately- I'm in a bit of a fallow period- but I'll try to keep posting what i have in the meantime until he creative bug bites again. Also, there's stuff I have taken but haven't been able to post yet, so hopefully soon that can go up...

The Stranglers headlined the Glasgow Bandstand in Kelvingrove on Saturday night along with DC Ruts. While the Paisley / Glasgow band the Vanities, who won a battle of the bands and the right to open the Stranglers event.
And though the evening turned cloudy with a heavy spell of rain during the DC Ruts set and set members of the audience clambering for their brollies and waterproofs. Though there was no way this heavy down pour was going to spoil what turned out to be cracking night and what was an excellent DC Ruts set.
The Vanities line up where Alan Hannah on vocal, guitar and harmonica along with Josh Carmichael on drums, Robin Brown on Guitar and vocal with Lewis Blakeman on Bass. Of whom where over the moon they had the chance of performing with legendary stranglers whose set was just as amazing as the rest along with the banter the band had with the fan.
Though after the show I never managed to snap a shot of the band along with Jean-Jacques Burnel of the Stranglers and who the band where hoping to get up close and person with. They did manage themselves and no doubt this only added to what was a great night out in Kelvingrove for all.

No hemos acabado con este extraño 2014 y ya tenemos a varios de los grandes preparando su alineación de cara a la próxima temporada. A Radiohead, probablemente Metallica y quién sabe si Tool va a sumarse don Steven Wilson, la figura más impactante en el mundo del Rock Progresivo, figura que no solo se alimenta por su labor estrictamente como músico sino que se engrandece por su empeño en volver a poner en vigencia a muchos de los clásicos que el prog nos regaló en los setenta.
Y claro, una vez nos ha metido en el zurrón a un clásico como The Power and the Glory de los infravalorados Gentle Giant y ha mezclado discos como Pale Communion o Distant Satellites de Anathema, Steven Wilson nos pide que hagamos sitio a su cuarto disco en solitario, disco que anuncia para inicios de 2015 y al cual, por supuesto, estaremos muy atentos en esta casa.

El prolÃfico músico londinense ya habÃa anunciado en mayo de este año que estaba trabajando en su nuevo disco, pero fue ayer, a través de las Redes Sociales que confirmaba la entrada al estudio de grabación este mismo mes de agosto, confirmando el mismo line up que ya le ayudó con el impresionante The Raven That Refused to Sing, anuncios publicados quizás por la alegrÃa de leer que su última obra era considerada la novena mejor en la historia del Rock Progresivo por parte de la famosa publicación Prog Rock Mag.
En su último mensaje en twitter Steven Wilson nos invitaba a permanecer atentos pues en breve nos darÃa más detalles al respecto de, desde ya, uno de los discos más esperados de cara al año que viene. Y lo estaremos, y os informaremos convenientemente.
