The members in STR are fans of the metal band, The Human Abstract. There is a promo photo that THA did that is very similar to this. Since STR are fans of THA, they wanted to go for that same style, but much darker to reflect (no pun intended) STR's music as sort of a tribute to a band that they look up to.

Getting back to the imagery for that first set of vintage-style roly-polys... and considering doing these in traditional orange/black/yellow colors...
I'm sewing a small project to put up on my Etsy shop. I'm probably going to wait a bit before I put them up on Etsy though so I get my printed cards first :)

This tea set belongs to my Nanna and i used it as a part of my heritage assessment.
This tea set was a wedding present for her mother and her mother gave it to Nanna before she died. It is quite amazing that this tea set is still alive acutally! When my Nanna moved many years ago, she put the tea set in a box and kept it separate from everything else so she could move it carefully herself in the car, rather than putting it in the moving van. She lost track of the box in all the flurry of moving, but she assumed it had been put in the car. When the moving van arrived at their new house, a single box fell from up high in the van as it's door opened. Nanna assumed it wasn’t anything too precious but when she opened it, she discovered it to be the tea set! Amazingly enough nothing was broken or chipped.
I recently won this stunning complete and rare fashion set of BFMC 2011 Darya. I think this dress resembles Beyonce's red dress from the RUN THE WORLD music video.
My fashion royalty Sound Advice Adele is modeling it and rockin it like Beyonce would !!!;-D!!!

Work table space is 56" w x 80" long.

What I really like about this is I can use this 56" wide x 80" long table top to prep quilt sandwiches on for quilting (no more bending or crawling on the floor). I can still reach the center of the table top to safety pin the quilt sandwich centers.

I'm using my Takumar Bayonet 28mm this month, and have decided to - for at least a deal of the time - "set and forget" it: set focus and aperture aiming for hyperfocal distance, then get the exposure ok and don't change the settings as I wander around. This was my first shot like that.

This is my favorite viewing angle of the piece, since it shows off all the sweet suspension parts
I wanted to aim for the feel of a 1930s movie set, where the lighting etc. is not "realistic" but expressive. The background should resemble a painted backdrop instead of real life.

Doppelwerra is the most misunderstood accessory made for the Werra cameras. Contrary to the common belief it has nothing to do with stereo photography: the lenses are not in the same vertical level when coupled. It simply couples two Werra cameras to take the same photo on two different films - typically a color and a b/w. It is basically nothing more than an adaptor with two screws to connect the two Werra cameras - and two holes (one for the newer small screw size and one for the older large) to mount them on a tripod.
