Just in time for mailing holiday greeting cards, the Smithsonian’s National Zoo launched a series of customized conservation stamps featuring seven Zoo animals: the giant panda, Asian elephant, Panamanian golden frog, clouded leopard, Kirtland’s warbler, Scimitar-horned oryx and western lowland gorilla. The animals represent major science programs at the Zoo. Each sheet, consisting of 20 stamps, features one animal. The value of these special stamps is equivalent to a first-class U.S. postage stamp. The stamps are $20.95 per sheet.

Little by little the night turns around....
counting the leaves that tremble at dawn...
lotuses lean on each other in yearning..
under the eaves the swallow is resting.
This is the set up I used to make my bubble set with. A Similar set up with a second strobe was used for my peppers set.
Most expensive bit of kit here is the solid Oak Table... don't tell the wife! The Yuonguo range here includes a YN560 flash gun, RF603 wireless triggers (I have two pairs, enough for one camera and 3 flashguns) and a YN126 wireless remote release. All purchased from ebay for a total of £98. The Builders deadman is used for putting up ceiling boards but is a real flexible tool for fixing lights to- it can wedge between floor and ceiling or two walls quickly and effectively and cost less than £20 from Builders merchants. I did not use the spring clamps here but they are also very handy. The fish tank was made by someone who used the 'wrong' mastic and killed all his fish so I got it for a£20 note! Apparently tanks this size are £75.
