one again playing with paper I've found a way to fold a bird in two real folds. one more time this bird like many of my recent folds go to essential. one uncut 10cm square of canson paper 210g/m² wetfold.
in this design I see a crested tit and you ?
This is the studio set up for the shoot. I varied the shutter speeds, f stops throughout. Tried to keep it at 100/200 ISO.
Two lights focusing on the back, both soft boxes, and another light aiming towards the model. Lighting wasn't perfect, but in a rush, it was acceptable. I got some nice shots from it!

Had to crop in tighter than i would of liked due to the messy enviroment, and after being at home for the last few days with the flu it was a joy to be out in the countryside even on a cold and dull day i had wanted to photograph the Waxwing but it appears they had moved on from the last reports.

A terrible bootleg version of the 2012 Ultrabuild Hulk set. Bought mainly because it amused me sufficiently, and the green looks close enough to the lighter green of Lewa.

This was an idea that was shown to me last weekend... to make a folder to hold a set of cards. The ribbon is threaded through so that it holds the cards inside. See here for the inside view.
Inked up the music background with Spiced Marmalade and Shabby Shutters distress ink and stamped it off.... then distressed the edges with the same colours. Added the sentiment and a butterfly which I also distressed with the Spiced Marmalade.

This was the set up with the shadow figures made of black plates on the desk, the minifigure slightly behind then and two light sources: the main lamp at the front and a soft light coming from the window during the early evening. I had to wedge the camera next to the puppets so that they moved out of the frame. Having the phone here, it also nicely shadowed the minifig.
Shot A was an early one, it was almost perfect, except that I felt the two shadows seem to be walking away (exit: stage left and stage right and the Shadow King is saying "Hey, guys, don't go, wait!") So I moved the phone closer to the King to make him bigger and moved the puppets closer in together.
Unfortunately doing this messed up the neat set up I had and the shadows lost something in shot B, they're fuzzier. But overall I thought the whole shot what stronger than the first, so B was close to the pic for the final (minus all the Photoshop stuff).

The Mark 1 Golf was introduced in 1974 as a front wheel drive hatchback and as a replacement for the original Volkswagen Beetle, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design with a rather sharp angular look.
In 1975 a sports-oriented variant of the Volkswagen Golf, called the Golf GTI was introduced in March of that year at the Frankfurt Motor Show as a hot version powered by a 1781cc four-cylinder engine fed by a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, which helped it develop a respectable 110 PS aided by a kerbweight of just 810kg.
The Cabriolet version followed in 1980 It had a reinforced body, transverse roll bar, and a high level of trim, and kept the pre-1980 style of rear lamp clusters. The Mk1 Cabriolet is of unibody construction built entirely at the factory of Karmann, from stamping to final assembly; Volkswagen supplied the engine, suspension, interior, etc. for Karmann to install. The vinyl or cloth tops were heavily insulated and manually - or beginning in 1991, electrically - operated, with a heated glass rear window.
Prior to the 1984 model year the highest standard specification Cabriolet was the GLI, which was essentially a GTI in all but name. It was only in late 1983 with the introduction of the 1984 model that an officially badged GTI version of the cabriolet finally became available.
The Mark 1 Golf was replaced by a Mark II model in 1983, but the Cabriolet version produced by Kharmann continued with the Mark I shell until 1993
This model is a limited production Rivage model of which only 470 RHD examples were supplied to the UK. The Golf GTi Rivage was a run-out model of the Mark 1 GTi Convertible, and were only available inmetalic Inca Blue or in a Metalic Green, and finished with heated Recaro cloth seats, Le Castellet forged alloy wheels, powered mohair hood and a five-speed gearbox.
