SJPL Service Day - In honor of the 2017 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service, San José Public Library hosted its first systemwide Service Day on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Everyone was invited to give back to their community by beautifying their local library branch.

Four Chaplains Service honoring the four chaplains, who were four U.S. Army chaplains who gave their lives to save other civilian and military personnel as the troop ship SS Dorchester sank during World War II. These chaplains helped other soldiers board lifeboats and gave up their own life jackets when the supply ran out. Waiting for the station owner's friend to bring gas to start the generator. The generator had started but didn't have enough gas to run long enough to pump fuel from the station tanks and keep running.

As part of the Hurricane Recovery Program, NCPTT assisted FEMA with condition assessment of damaged collections and provided technical assistance in collections recovery after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. With this project, NCPTT's Sean Clifford and Jason Church assisted Jenifer Eggleston of the Historic Preservation Grants program of the National Park Service in documenting the homes that participated in the hurricane recovery grant program. Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service held several open events on Saturday the 23rd of April 2022. During this i paid a visit to Kidlington which is FJ X 06, Bicester which is FJ X 07 and Banbury which is FJ X 01. I managed to photograph a vast range of appliances during this day including the Cadet Appliance, Rescue Tender, Prime Movers + High Volume Pumps + Hose Layers, pumps of many generations, plenty of officer cars and 4x4's, the communications support unit and even a retro fitted fire appliance from 2006. Also the Detection, Identification & Monitoring as well.
Uncle Ronnie and Auntie Pet saying good-bye to their daughter, Melanie. This was at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in Lodi, CA. The memorial service of my cousin Melanie was taken place here. The memorial service started roughly around 6 p.m. (Sunday evening, March 9, 2014)
