Sadly A4 No60009 has now been "formally" withdrawn from service and will only be seen as a static display at Bury Bolton street during the East Lancashire Railway's Autumn Gala.before moving on to its final resting place. This image was taken during a Russ Hillier photo charter on the Nene Valley Railway while she was taking a break from mainline tour duties in September 2017

This is a local company but I think the truck was previously owned by that national tree service.

This was taken at 11:30pm when the park rangers are gone. They will not allow tripods. This is a 2 min. exposure at f4, ISO 1600. Canon 5DMarkII. I am walking through the image with two Canon strobe flashes to illuminate the names on the wall.

Originally built for the Santa Fe as their 2741 and having gone through a rebuild program while still in service on the Santa Fe it is now working for its 3rd owner the Montreal, Maine & Atlantic.In January 2005 it is assigned to the Squa Pan Local.
