An earlier setup of mine. This was a Linksys NSLU2 (embedded Linux box) acting as a file server and a data logging server. I replaced the NSLU2 with a faster file server, and the data logging is now carried out by a low-power netbook.

For ease of setup / troubleshooting each 'PC' can also be accessed via the underside, after removing a small, thin service panel - here you can see the HDMI + 2x USB3 port access - the LAN port routes back inside and is connected to the front panel

We had 4 dell 2450 servers and one IBM 4000R server. We traded them all for a sweet little mac mini setup. Pretty fair deal I think, and now I have a mac! WHOO HOO.
