Got up at 6 or so to take the ferry over to Victoria, Canada, saw this, and ran off to get my camera. I took this from my uncle's house in Sequim Washington. I really liked the balance that the island gave this one. Also, the gold color wasn't adjusted in post, that was how it actually looked.

I stopped to grab some quick shots of the sunset over Sequim bay on the Olympic peninsula and didn't even notice the fishing heron at first. He caught several fish while we were watching.
