Silent forest breathes—
mist curls around ancient limbs,
time forgets to move.
September mist shrouds the forest trees.
Butterflies and hummingbirds love tithonia and it is very easy to grow.

Thank you for looking at my photos. It is very much appreciated.
Looking at unesco world heritage site Pontcystyllte Aqueduct near the Trevor basin a canal boat centre.
I was lucky enough to be out by the feeders when the birds came to visit and was happy to grab a quick shot of this little visitor.
I'm not too sure of the ID though, so if you know, please let me know. - Bird identified as a Yellow-rumped Warbler, thanks Stephen Tyson and Brennan Mulrooney for the ID!

The tough thing about shooting Black Swallowtails is that they continually flutter. And, their wings move independently - in four parts. So it's challenging to get them entirely in focus. Like their hummingbird friends, they almost never land and just sit.
This is another one from Tom's gardens yesterday - one of a pair of exquisite Eastern Black Swallowtails loving the warm sunshine and Purpletop Vervain. At least you can see the beautiful colors of this Swallowtail and Tom's wonderful plantings.
Classes have started for me again so I'm off and running until late this evening. I'll catch up with your beautiful streams then. Have a wonderful Tuesday! :)
I really liked the way this plant looked in the sunlight this morning.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

The fallow land is an important element in the interconnectedness of nature. We thereby promote biodiversity.
Some of the plants are teasels, which provide food for birds in winter
It's been a Summer of Monarchs. They've popped up almost everywhere from roadsides to rooftops, from parking lots to downtown cafes. But as September arrives, and the evenings get cooler, they won't be here too much longer. This one seemed to be gathering as much warmth as it could, just before sunset, on the top of a corn stalk early last evening.
"...September days are here,
With summer's best of weather,
And autumn's best of cheer."

This is the courtyard at Powis castle and they are spoiling it with the umbrellas and tables, when we visited in middle of September.
It better to go in March/April before they put them out.
Playing with puddles after a night of heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Into the Woods (Plus Birdfeeder)
Don and I are off camping for the next couple of weeks as of Friday. See you in September, if we don't get eaten by a bear!
