This is the 5D MarkIII with the Tokina AT-X 116 11-16mm f2.8 at 11mm. It's what happens when you use it on a camera with a full-frame sensor.

The impact sensor is a tried & tested unit originating from the automotive industry where it is used as an impact fuel cut-off device. The sensor is a completely mechanical device & therefore requires no external power, and as such draws no current. The device is normally closed circuit, going open open circuit under impact. This is intentional as the unit may get destroyed during an impact, using normally closed contacts will ensure operation even if the unit is disconnected completely. The sensor should be mounted vertically, preferably at the base of the structure being monitored. (this avoids working at heights). However there are alternatives supports for all types of poles including lattix and poles without doors. www.passivesis.com
Again, hard to see but this is the sensor wire going under the fuse box to the hole for the ABS sensor.
Campers designed and fabricated their own carbon monoxide and ambient sound sensors to take home with them. They decided on the enclosure to use, as well as how to organize the colored LEDs in such a way that conveys the data in a meaningful way to the user.
Adjusting our makeshift sensor system... Still waiting for the real thing (INS) to arrive.

Sensor boards that I designed and built. The big sensor detects dust in the air. Other sensors on the board detect ozone gas, other nasty vapors, air pressure (altitude, with a known reference), temperature, and light intensity and color. The boards run for a day from a battery on the back and are rechargeable.
This criature roams through the environment and seeks for light sources. If an obsctacle is too close it turns around.
