Be sensitive in this world requires courage. Much. Every day. This way of listening in addition to the eyes, to see beyond ear, feel the texture of feeling alien as clear in your own heart and so often until doer or laugh along with all sincerity. This feeling, from time to time to be abroad and not be able to speak the local language, being half ET, a kind of survivor of an extinct civilization. This intensity every time tenderness minguada. This love so vivid on land where the majority seems to frighten more with affection than with the snub. This spontaneous care with others. This desire is so pure that nobody suffers for nothing. This insulting hurt by know, clearly, how it hurts feel hurt.

Be sensitive in this world requires courage. Much. Every day This longing, that sometimes makes the soul marejar, a place that no one knows where it is, but there is, of course, exist. This ability to experience pain, when the pain comes with the same truth that experiences the joy. This inability to not wonder with the grandiose charm that also lives in subtlety. This desire to spread smiles bouquets there, because the sensitive, then weep once in a while to fall asleep, don't let the idea of a world that can wake up smiling. For everyone. For every all being.. for all life.

I even have tried to be different, for fear of hurting, but has no way: I can only be equal to me.

Last Embrace, 2024 There’s an old saying, "May you live in interesting times." It’s hard to ignore that we are living in scary, unstable times that are causing tremors of fear and sorrow on a global scale. The question is: Will we allow ourselves to be dragged down, or will we rise up and help lift others? In this new series “Motherlode” I call upon my female ancestors for guidance using my original photography layered with vernacular photos and collage elements to evoke their stories of wisdom, courage and survival. This is the vein of gold that runs in our maternal line.

When I feel fearful about current events, I think about my ancestors over the millennia who overcame great challenges—oppressive regimes, wars, invasions, religious persecution, pandemic, plague, famine, dangerous migrations and the tragic loss of loved ones and land to call home. Throughout it all, the women kept going, generation after generation, holding on to a vision of better days, trusting they could make it to a better place so that their families and descendants could survive. You and I are here today because of their courage in the face of fear.

Today, like our ancestors, we find ourselves in the midst of massive change and epic upheaval. What affects one of us, affects all of us, so we must address the systems and structures that are no longer working and have not worked for life on earth for a very long time. Confronting these mountainous truths can feel staggering to our nervous systems. Due to past trauma of our own and that carried in our DNA, many of us may feel overwhelmed; adversity causing us to freeze and feel helpless or powerless in the face of such monumental issues. For me as a sensitive soul, fear drastically lowers my energetic vibration, reduces my immune system and cuts off my ability to create and share my gifts. I have already spent over a decade frozen in grief and painful blocked connection to my higher self. Now, I have learned that in order to help myself and my people, (this includes you) I choose, despite all the turmoil, to live in such a way that allows me daily access to the higher vibrations of peace, love and, unlikely though it feels most days- hope.

Three cheers for Glasgow's iconoclastic planners! I think this is a lovely sensitive development around a historical bit of architecture.

Our family had to have some sort of vacation holiday and chose an area of the country that was less densely populated and with lower COVID-19 rates. It also happened to include North Dakota, a state none of us had been to and marks state #49 for Tamara. We had a wonderful trip, got labeled as "Covid-sensitive" at a restaurant (which we now bear as a badge of honor), and got to see and explore a lot of places that in a 'normal' year we probably would have missed out on.

There used to be a statue of Mohammed on the right, but it was removed.
