In today’s time, everyone is extra conscious about the products to use. Now, not only Sensitive Skin people but all look for natural made products. And, one should use natural products as they have lots of benefits and have no side effects.
It recently occurred to me that I should learn to identify ferns, since they grow all over the camp. Right now they pretty much all look identical to me except for this one.
This thing was always my favorite... and now it's my sons favorite. You touch the leaves and it curls up in response to the touch.
Onoclea sensibilis 120 Peterson Fern Sturdy coarse broad leaf triangular in shape. Grows with an upward and backward tilt. Leaflet has a network of veins 2”. Grows in damp wet places in sun or shade.
With a rather course-cut leaf, the Sensitive Fern is one that is easier for me to quickly identify compared to many other species of fern. I find it in shad woodland surroundings as well as woodland edges where it gets partial sun.
