The waterfall, Seljalandsfoss, drains from the Eyjafjallajokull Glacier, site of the recent volcanic eruptions.
There is a path leading behind this waterfall but you have to be well waterproofed. we got wet! It's close to the main road about 90 minutes from Reykjavík heading east along the south coast.
