Weston meters were made by Weston Electrical Instrument, started the late 1800s by Edward Weston (not to be confused with Edward Weston, the famous photographer). They pioneered photo-electric meters; their Model 617 was the first to be commercially available for photograpers; their system of rating film speeds, Weston Numbers, was very popular in the US. They were highly regarded by the pros (Ansel Adams used Weston Masters), and they did very well until the 60s when on-board camera meters killed most of the market for hand-held meters. In the late 60s and 70s they got caught in the pinchers between the two german meter giants Gossen and Sekonic, and went under. Their last designs (e.g. the Euromaster) was recently still in production by another company, but I believe that ended as well.

My dad passed away ~8 years ago. Recently, we were cleaning out the basement at my parents house and came across a box of old camera equipment. I intend to clean this up in order to display it nicely.
Please have a look at the other photo's of this in my photostream. Any suggestions on how to proceed to clean this up would be appreciated!

We celebrated Halloween on Gabriola Island. The weather co-operated. The clouds drifted across the moon creating a naturally eerie sight.
The colour version of this image was noisy and blotchy so I converted it to monochrome in Topaz and then added the selenium toning in LR to complete the developing and processing.
The untoned print wasn't scanned. This was a mistake print, it was blurry as I had knocked the easel plus it was way too dark and contrasty. So I experimented and selenium toned this Ilford MG Cooltone FB print, which made it even darker. I then bleached the print for some time in ferricyanide bleach, turning the print much lighter and reddish.
Four flashes used to create this image - everything in manual mode. On-camera SB-600 with Lumiquest Ultrasoft, camera right YN-460 with diffuser, two SB-28 with wide-angle diffuser for background.
