One tiny everlasting seed about to blow away on a breeze. That one seed is capable of growing into a plant 18” high with lots of flowers. Mind boggling !

Trying to think of grey food really stumped my brain. Grey is not a color of life, to me it represents death. Grey produce... nothing readily came to mind so I found the chia seeds in my cupboard and felt satisfied.
I am anxious about my next image which is going to be black on black, eek - wish me luck! If anyone has any insight on how best to shoot it I would appreciate tips or tricks that you may have learned along the way.
Seed pods of poppies. I developed this in Adobe Lightroom and applied a preset subject concerts CT 05. One of the new adaptive presets from Adobe.
I took my camera for a walk yesterday. These are cow parsley heads that have somehow survived. I love cow parsley, it is so delicate.

We've had a warm winter so far, still have flower seeds in tact...left them in the garden for the birds.

Seeds from the Siberian elm. The tree grows so rapidly and at this time of the year, you will often see these seeds flying through the air and when they land you will see carpets of them everywhere in Albuquerque.
