Instructions in the Guard's hut at the new development adjacent to the power station.
The guard on duty on my earlier visit followed these to the letter, turfing me off of the riverside promenade (which frankly looked a hell of a lot like public space to me - being right along the river and a good 50 metres away from the development) with the instruction "come back in a few months". Yeah, really convenient from Australia mate.
The next time I visited there was no guard on duty, so I took the opportunity to photograph the guard's hut and this notice.

He saw me with my camera and struck a dashing pose. I laughed, then asked if he'd mind doing it when I actually took a photo. With a smile like that, who could resist?

DPAC takes coffin full of messages to ATOS HQ - 29.08.2012
As the rest of the country waited for the evening's Paralympic Games opening ceremony to begin, activists from DPAC, WinVisible and the Direct Action Network (DAN) delivered a coffin to the doors of ATOS Origin's Headquarters, with messages from the relatives and loved one of sick and disabled people who have been through the French IT company's much-reviled Work Capability Assessment and who were all taken off the benefits which made their lives both possible and bearable, and who all died or committed suicide shortly afterwards.
