I took some photos of the guard installing the locks on the door after I had to leave the museum. I only got a couple hours in there, and I spent one of the hours looking at a temporary exhibit of DarÃo de Regoyos, because I didn't realize how much bigger the museum was. Also the exhibit was very interesting. The man, one of the few famous Spanish painters, dabbled in a variety of styles including pointilism and divisionism, all the while shunning for the most part sale-driven painting for his favored landscapes, which are glorious. The museum tickets were near that exhibit, so I went in there. Later, I found there were 32 more rooms of art from various historical periods. It didn't start to get modern til about room 26, and rooms 31 and 32 had the most modern (cubist, abstract, etc.) But each of those (rooms) were at least 6 rooms, and 31 included a huge space that was the size of some medium sized galleries I've been in.

Garry Beverly is a security guard for the upstairs part of San Francisco's Ferry Building. My friend and I were hesitating at the bottom of the grand staircase, wondering if it was really okay to continue on. Garry called to us, said we were welcome to come up and take pictures. He seemed to relish the company. The building was refurbished about six years ago, and Garry came on as a security guard shortly after it reopened. He took our picture, and then I turned the tables and asked for one of him. He was delighted! He's actually hamming it up here, pointing up at the skylights, but I managed to cut off his finger while entreating him to look at the camera. He did, and I clicked without framing.
