Airmen and Soldiers of the Massachusetts National Guard take a photo they respond together to help their communities during the COVID-19 response. Security Forces Airmen from the 104th Fighter Wing, Barnes Air National Guard Base, Mass., and Soldiers with the 747th Military Police Company, Massachusetts Army National Guard, are providing 24-hour security for testing sites and shelters for the homeless who may be positive COVID-19. The Airmen and Soldiers are working with interagency partners Springfield Police Department to ensure security and safety for the supplies, patients, and staff. The working dogs can be transported by helicopter quickly and efficiently to wherever they're needed once they become comfortable with the aircraft.
