OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb.-Numerous guests with Team Offutt were given a tour of the newly remodeled K-9 unit kennels, Nov. 18. The 1.3 million dollar renovation comes well equipped giving the dogs a 10x14 space with private dog house, heated floors, separate isolation kennels for sick dogs and other medical treatment just to name a few of the modern amenities. This facility provides a quality and safe environment with ample space for the handlers and their partners which ultimately help complete the vast array of missions that support Offutt, local police agencies, local community and U.S. Secret Service.
