Just back from a trip to the southern Oregon coast. This was my second visit to Secret Beach, which is not all that secret. The first time the tide was high & getting all the way down to the beach was not possible. This time, I made it all the way down, though the last part was somewhat steep & rocky & a little bit of a challenge for me.

I got bored from climbing straight to the top of mountain Cer, so this time I decided to roam around surrounding hills just to find this secret valley...
Taken before the hoards visited, I cant believe how much has change here now, so much erosion, the fallen tree is much lower and nowhere near as much greenery, especially the Ivy that grew on the tree...
Or so they told me. I think they might have been pulling my leg. Personally, I think it was just storage for stuff they didn't want to leave out in the weather.

Secret Cove is among the many beach front areas along the coast. On this occasion it was the strong contrast that I was playing with. The overly white clouds against the dark blue sky. The splashing white waves against dark rocks and equally dim shoreline.
The shadows in the mid-ground helped bridge the two, along with the ever so slight movement in the ocean itself. The contrasts were essential in this image, and show how a landscape shot does not need to depend on morning or evening light.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I consider this a non Asha picture as the main focus is the wall. this is a long stone wall that runs onto Bangor's Coastal Path. I always admire it every time I walk past. I call it a secret garden. I would just love to go through that door and walk around. Though I was told that the grounds are very over grown and would be near impossible to walk around. Even so I would like to attempt it
Came across this beautiful place at the weekend. Admission is by ticket only. We just admired from afar, but will return soon.

“The Secret Path” – A mysterious line of stones fading into the Oslofjord’s blue hour, with Guriskjæret marking the way. The long exposure turns the sea into a dreamlike veil, leading the eye toward the unknown.
Fun fact:
Guriskjæret lies along the historic Åsgårdstrandsveien, a stretch of coast rich in tales of seafarers and artistic inspiration. Many hidden stone formations here only reveal themselves at low tide, sparking local legends of forgotten paths.
