I found this beach on an Internet article about beaches in and around Brookings, Oregon. It's not easy to find and we actually passed the unmarked parking area a couple of times before we located it.
The parking area is 1/3 of a mile south of mile marker 345 on Highway 101, and is partially obscured as you are headed north by a guardrail. The hike down to the beach is very steep, good shoes or sneakers are a must, and probably not terribly safe on a wet day. Definitely worthwhile and someplace I want to get back to for a sunset.

The virtual world, in our case the SL, gives people unlimited opportunities for creative self-expression in the first place, providing amazing tools for creating their fantasies and dreams, and embodying them in the digital space. As I looked at this scene, I thought I saw "letters" on the side of the mountain. It's common in the western USA to see large single letters on the side of a mountain to designate a community - but letters from snow?
Just a coincidence or an alien bat signal?

The headlands along this coast always give a wonderful sense of perspective. When the sun disappeared behind the clouds I thought I'd have to wait a while, but the sunlight slashed across the higher clouds creating this beautiful diagonal streak. Secret love is a wonderful song and my cover of this is a hauntingly beautiful track by Ry Cooder and Manuel Galban.

As she lays peacefully in the soft tender gold sands she looks deep with wonder slowly drifts away into the mysterious deep ocean glistening with sun's rays in tune with the harp floating through the gentle sky.. She gazes through her silk reflections her smooth delicate skin becoming the envelope of silent whispers and secrets that echo and recede in harmony with her light. light in its delicate material dance with the gentle shadows in harmony with her inner music where peace and serenity resides here..
l am thinking about people who serve in the military who l have much respect and admiration for. My heart goes out to people who help others, those that save lives. 💓🇺🇦🌎🙏🌞🌹
