OK, this is a bit of a stretch, but IF the Seahawks were to drive to New Jersey they might have taken Washington's impressive North Cascades highway on their way to New Jersey…..

But then again, this highway is generally closed due to heavy snow this time of year. Flying was a better option.

I've been a Seahawks fan since the team began in 1976. So this is a big weekend for me and my family. Many friends and family are gathering this weekend for the Super Bowl. I will subsequently be busy and offline for the next few days. Let the fun begin.

I respect and admire the Broncos. They are my 3rd favorite team. Peyton is amazing.

Defense generally prevails though…. I'm hoping for a good, fairly called, game. May the best team win.

Go Hawks!

What a game. Easier to enjoy if you are a Seahawk fan. Lots of smiles in the Pacific NW. The Broncos will be back.

With company I'm going to be away for a bit. Have a wonderful week and weekend!

I was fortunate to get invited to go to Day 2 of the Seahawks Training Camp. I had a lot of time to sketch while standing in two ultra long lines. It was a beautiful 90 degree day and there wasn't a lot of shade. They had some misting fans set up to cool the throngs which really felt good! After I finished the sketch of the field we went down to the field and I was fortunate to have two players sign my sketch, Thomas Rawls and Deshon Foxx. I was very close to getting Bobby Wagner and Doug Baldwin but they were called away.

Amazing beautiful. And freezing!

. . . but then they had to run a do-over for some reason.

Through a great friend who won two tickets, I was able to experience my first SuperBowl in person... and what a game to remember!

In regards to photography, I had to figure out the longest reach I could achieve with my gear, keeping the lens < 6 inches in length per SuperBowl policy. I ended up dusting off the Canon 7D and slapped on my Canon EF 135 f/2 L. This image is cropped nearly 40-45%

Favre is Going to Get Chewed Up and Spit Out! At least... that was Yoda's and Adam's prediction.

The Seattle Seahawks matched up against the Green Bay Packers (at Green Bay) in Saturday's playoff game. Unfortunately, after an early lead...the Seahawks lost.

Since the Seahawks won last week, Adam asked me to continue the tradition of a uniformed pug shot.

Just messing around after the Seahawks win against Carolina! Woohoo! I love this city!

Here's my version of the reflections of downtown dressed up supporting the Seahawks before tonight's Super Bowl.

I can't wait for football to start! I built this is anticipation for the preseason game between Denver and Seattle on 8.14.15.

I normally abhor non-Lego bricks, but was gifted a few of the Oyo Sportstoys minifigs. My girlfriend bought me Manning, my friend (Hawks fan) bought me Wilson out of spite. I was honestly surprised with the compatibility between brands. I replaced the arms and hands, pants, and heads with genuine Lego and (despite the slight difference in color) I like these modified figs much better.

I know, I know. Guess I can't call myself much of a purist if have lots of BrickArms stuff though too, right?
